Reverse Circulation Drilling

Reverse Circulation Drilling Tools are a slower method, but it has the advantage of being less affected by back pressure and water inflows.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The compressed air powers the Reverse Circulation Drilling(RC) hammer, just like with traditional DTH air hammers, and carries the cuttings out of the hole. Cuttings from Reverse Circulation Drilling, on the other hand, are channeled back to the surface via the RC hammer's inner tubes and, RC drilling refers to Dual Wall or Dual Tube Drilling. Reverse Circulation Drilling applies two rods with inner and outer tubes. Air is blown down the annulus of the rod and enters into the hammer and bit. Rock formation fragments crushed by bit are collected into the inter tube via an air hole on the bit head. And then returned to the ground and enter into the sampling system. as a result, the drill rod, rotational head, and sample hose, which is connected to the top of the "cyclone," where the cuttings are slowed, separated from the air, and collected in a samples bag. In the 1990s, the demand for clean, uncontaminated samples led to the development of RC hammers, and Reverse Circulation Drilling technology has been steadily improving since then to meet the demand for drilling deeper and in more difficult geological conditions.

As a result, LEANOMS designed the Reverse Circulation Drilling with the goal of creating a simpler design with fewer internal parts that would last longer. The inner sampling tube, which provides a continuous sealed pathway for drill cuttings from the bit face to the surface, received special engineering attention because it is a critical component that wears out quickly. As a result, Drill King fine-tuned its steel material selection and heat-treating specifications to produce a wear-resistant sampling tube. Because it only has 11 internal parts, the Reverse Circulation Drilling hammer is simple to disassemble and reassemble (not counting the o-ring seals). All hammer parts are precisely machined to prevent air leakage, resulting in increased drilling penetration rates and reduced air consumption.
