Product Introduction
LEANOMS

The primary applications of RC Hammer are well drilling and geological prospecting. It is a particular type of drilling device that drains the rock slag through the drilling pipe. The maximum hole depth is less than 600 meters, and the air consumption is low. The operation is eco-friendly, and the sampling is precise. Drilling tool, reverse circulation drilling tool discharges from the tube rock slag, resistance is minimal, slagging is smooth, sample tube and outer cylinder selection of special custom alloy steel, slagging pipe surface to strengthen the treatment, use of high-quality seals, sealing effect.

working principle
LEANOMS

The working principle of the Reverse Circulation (RC) Hammer is mainly based on the reverse circulation drilling technology. The following are the basic principles and steps of its operation:

Drilling process: In reverse circulation drilling, the rc components hammer uses compressed air or water to carry the broken cuttings from the bottom of the hole to the surface in reverse. This reverse movement is opposite to positive circulation drilling, in which the cuttings rise with the flushing medium.

Cuttings carrying: When the RC Hammer is drilling, negative pressure is formed inside the drill pipe, so that the cuttings are sucked into the drill pipe and returned to the surface through the drill pipe. This method can effectively carry cuttings, especially for large-diameter boreholes, where reverse circulation drilling can more effectively remove cuttings.RC Drill Bits

Core protection: Reverse circulation drilling can protect the core and improve the core recovery rate. Since the cuttings are carried in the reverse direction, the secondary crushing of the core by the cuttings is reduced, thereby improving the integrity of the core.

Bottom cleaning: Reverse circulation drilling makes the bottom of the hole cleaner and avoids the secondary crushing of the cuttings, which can improve drilling efficiency.

Low pump pressure requirement: Compared with positive circulation, reverse circulation drilling requires less pump pressure because the flushing medium returns from the inside of the drill pipe, with a higher flow rate and a stronger ability to carry cuttings.

Hole wall maintenance: Reverse circulation drilling helps maintain the hole wall, especially when using double-walled pipe reverse circulation drilling, it can reduce the loss of flushing medium.

Reduce costs: In soft rock (soil) layers, reverse circulation drilling can significantly reduce drilling costs.

Gas lift reverse circulation: Gas lift reverse circulation is a method of reverse circulation drilling. Compressed air is mixed with the flushing fluid in the drill pipe to form a mixed gas-liquid column, which generates a pressure difference and forms a reverse circulation. This method cannot be used in the hole opening stage. Reverse circulation can only be formed after the gas-water mixer is lowered to a certain depth.

Product Advantages
LEANOMS

Advantages:
Easy to obtain and environmentally friendly: Air as a flushing medium is easy to obtain and "zero addition", avoiding the contamination of chemical mud on the formation and rock samples.

High mechanical drilling speed: Air circulation has the characteristics of high speed and low air column pressure, which makes the bottom of the hole flush cleaner, improves the multi-directional pressure state of the rock at the bottom of the hole, and is conducive to the release of internal stress of rock crushing, thereby increasing the drilling speed.

RC45-RE542 RC HAMMER BIT-04Little damage to the reservoir: Air as a low-density flushing medium generally does not penetrate into the formation, thereby effectively protecting beneficial reservoirs such as water, geothermal, and low-pressure oil and gas.

Low comprehensive drilling cost: Air circulation drilling has high single-hole drilling efficiency, short construction period, low drill bit consumption, and no need to prepare mud, which can effectively reduce the comprehensive drilling cost.

Small discharge section and strong formation adaptability: Air reverse circulation drilling technology can be applied in various complex formations such as fault fracture zones, weathered layers, and fissure development, which can reduce hole wall erosion and facilitate borehole stability.

High drilling speed: RC drilling speed is comparable to open-pit drilling methods and is generally faster at greater depths. The sampling speed through the inner tube can reach 250 m/s, making drill cuttings recovery a fast but safe method that requires fewer man-hours.

Versatility in harsh conditions: RC drilling hammer drilling is fairly simple and requires much less water than diamond drilling, making it an ideal choice for locations where water resources are scarce or expensive. RC drilling is also a more cost-effective method than diamond drilling, with operating costs reduced by up to 40% compared to diamond drilling.
