Carbide Tapered Button Bits

Carbide Tapered Button Bits is a carbide thread button bit constructed of high-quality carbide tips and steel. It has been demonstrated that thread button bits perform exceptionally well in hard and extremely hard rock formations.

Products Description

tapered button bitsLEANOMS provides Carbide Tapered Button Bits manufacturing Rock drill bits for small holes. In contrast to thread button bits, Carbide Tapered Button Bits are long hole bits that are used with bit rods to power air leg or hand-held jackhammer drillers in the mining and stone quarrying industries.

1. Taper chisel bit

By using a light-duty rock drill, such as a 20, 24, the taper chisel bit is frequently used to drill holes that are less than 5 meters deep and 20–45 mm in diameter.

2. Taper cross bit

Due to its extensive versatility, taper cross bits may be employed in every rock drilling situation. Because the carbide tips on cross bits are doubled and the carbides on drill bits are cross-shaped, taper cross bits perform better while drilling than taper chisel bits. Taper cross bits are typically utilized for formations of hard or extremely hard rocks.

3. Carbide Tapered Button Bits

When compared to taper chisel and taper cross bits, Carbide Tapered Button Bits are more technologically advanced, take significantly longer to drill through the material in the primary stage, and have a better drilling efficiency. For these reasons, users favor button bits.

The types of tapered button bits include hemispherical, conical, and parabolic buttons, among others, based on the tungsten carbide insert.

Conical and parabolic buttons are for fast drilling speed and low abrasion resistance, whereas hemispherical buttons are for high bearing capacity and abrasion resistance.

Features of a spherical Carbide Tapered Button Bits:

Carbide tapered button bits have long service lives, precise positioning, coarse cuttings, low dust, durability, and no need for grinding, among other benefits. The drilling speed is faster, and the bit is passivated, when compared to the traditional flaky Carbide Tapered Button Bits Long, its non-grinding life is approximately 5-6 times that of the Carbide Tapered Button Bits of the same diameter blade head, which contributes to saving auxiliary man-hours, reducing worker manual labor, and speeding up engineering.

Application of button bit(1)In order to endure the most demanding rock drilling requirements and transfer intense impact energy into the rock with the least amount of energy loss, taper button bits are fashioned from high-quality alloy steel bars and tungsten carbides.

The carbide tapered button bits diameter, the number of air/water holes, a form of the carbide button, and the shape of the face of the button bits are developed and produced based on samples or designs provided by the customer.

The tungsten carbide inserts carbide tapered button bits into three types: hemispherical, conical, and parabolic buttons, among others.
