Products Description
LEANOMS
LEANOMS offers one of the most complete lines of down the hole hammers, drills and downhole bits ranging from 3.5” – 48” (89mm – 1219mm) which are designed for peak performance in all rock drilling applications including but not limited to; foundation & geotechnical drilling, blasthole drilling in quarries & mines, waterwell & geothermal boreholes, oil & gas underbalanced drilling, horizontal directional drilling, and utility transmission & distribution rock sockets.
working principle
LEANOMS
Working principle of down-the-hole hammer
1. The drill bit equipped with the hammer is pressed against the rock
2. The high-pressure gas pushes open the check valve through the drill pipe and enters the front chamber through the hammer gas channel.
3. The volume of the front chamber increases, pushing the piston upward;
4. When the piston moves upward to a certain extent, the front chamber deflates and compressed gas enters the rear chamber. At this time, due to inertia, the piston still moves upward during the hammer stroke. Thereafter, the above process is repeated to achieve hammer and complete rock drilling.
5. When the piston rises to a certain level, because the rear chamber is compressed and the gas pressure increases, the piston begins to impact downward, forming an impact stroke. Thereafter, the above process is repeated to achieve hammer and complete rock drilling.
Application
LEANOMS
DTH Hammers 3" - 12" for drilling projects in the mining, quarrying, exploration, water-well, geothermal, solar, and building/geotechnical industries. All LEANOMS DTH hammers are produced internally at our cutting-edge factories. To ensure longevity and quality, all components are precisely made utilizing premium raw materials and put through specialized heat-treatment procedures at our facilities. The DTH hammer models from LEANOMS support a wide range of well-liked drill bit shank designs and come with all standard backhead connections. Connectors with API Reg pins are typical.
