A DTH Back Hammer is a specialized tool used in conjunction with a DTH drilling system. The DTH Back Hammer helps increase the drilling efficiency by providing additional impact and pressure to the drill bit, thereby aiding in the penetration of the rock.

 

A DTH Back Hammer is a tool that can save and recover a drill string stuck in a hole, it can be easily fitted in a suitable tube joint between the drill support and the rotation head to provide an effective combination of backward hammering and vibration to loosen stuck drill strings.

 

In case of jamming of any drilling tool in the boring process, the back hammer will assist you to solve the stuck problem by giving a backward impact power.

 

The DTH Back Hammer may be mounted on the drill pipe joint between the borehole gripper and the swivel head, thus creating a combined effect of effective reverse impact and vibration.

 

The DTH Back Hammer consists of three components and plastic housing.

 

The housing acts both as an exhaust emissions guide and a muffler. With regards to maintenance, it's only necessary to keep it clean and the linking section we protected when the back hammer is not in use.
