Continuing from the previous article, after removing the check valve:
7. Remove the space.
8. Grab the head of the air distribution rod and pull the cylinder of the gas distribution rod out of the outer sleeve. Sometimes it is necessary to install from the outer casing before. Use a copper rod at one end of the joint to gently tap the end of the gas distribution rod to remove the gas distribution rod assembly and the outer cylinder.
9. Remove the DTH Drill Hammer cylinder from the air distribution. The preferred method is to match the valve rod and cylinder assembly with the small diameter end of the piston. By lifting the assembly up high and hitting the piston downward, the cylinder is removed. Be careful not to put your fingers in the cylinder. to prevent pinching fingers when the assembly moves up and down.
10. Turn to which end of the top sub before installation, and remove the guided case from the outer casing of the DTH Drill Hammer. Due to the rust or dryness of this part, a special pull rod is required to remove the guided case. When using this tool, do not hook the tool to the snap ring. Sometimes you can hit the outer sleeve up and down on a piece of hardwood. Guided case is loose.
11. Take out the DTH Drill Hammer piston from the outer sleeve, because the piston is heavy, so be careful when taking it out.
12. It is not necessary to remove the gas distribution rod from the gas distribution seat in the daily maintenance of the DTH Drill Hammer. If the air distribution rod must be removed due to wear and damage of the air distribution rod, you can use an oil press or a hydraulic press to remove the air distribution rod from the lower part. Press out the air distribution rod at one end. This completes the disassembly of the DTH Drill Hammer.
