How is DTH Hammer Drilling utilized and what is it?

The "Down-the-Hole" or DTH Hammer Drilling is used to drill holes through a number of rock types, and the variety of these holes is far more now than it was when early blast hole drilling was first invented.


When compared to drifter DTH Hammer Drilling, which hammer on top of the drill string, "Down-the-Hole" refers to where the DTH Hammer Drilling action takes place.
