::LEANOMSGeological conditions: NQ Diamond Drill Rod can be used to drill various strata, and the best effect is in the 6-9 grade medium hard rock layer. Under the current technical conditions, it is generally not suitable to drill into the 10-12 grade rock, especially the extremely hard rock with dense rock structure, fine particles and no abrasiveness, such as quartz diorite, quartz conglomerate, quartz magnetite, etc., or hard, brittle, and broken rocks with strong abrasiveness. Because, when drilling into the above rocks, the drill bit is very easy to wear, the drilling efficiency is extremely low, and the advantages of NQ Diamond Drill Rod cannot be fully utilized.
Borehole depth: NQ Diamond Drill Rod can be used in shallow holes (100-300m) and deep holes. Generally, the deeper the hole, the better the economic and technical effect. However, the maximum depth of NQ coring drilling is restricted by the strength of the drill rod and should be checked.
Drill bit life: When using NQ Diamond Drill Rod, if the drill bit life is short and the drill needs to be frequently lifted and replaced during the drilling process, then the meaning of using rope core drilling is lost.

Drilling pressure:
The bottom lip area of the NQ rope core drill bit is larger than that of the ordinary diamond drill bit (about 1/4 larger), and the required drilling pressure is correspondingly increased by 25%.
Rotation speed:
The rotation speed can be calculated based on the circumferential speed of ordinary diamond drill bits (0.5-2 m/s for surface-set drill bits; 1.5 nVs for impregnated drill bits), but the drilling depth must be considered.
Pump volume:
Since the annular gap of the NQ rope coring drill is small and the bottom lip area of the drill bit is large, the pump volume is calculated based on the flushing fluid consumption per unit area of the bottom lip of the drill bit, which is slightly larger than the pump volume of ordinary diamond drilling.
How to Maintenance the inner tube assembly?

Core lifter and Core lifter case:
After each coring operation, the Core lifter case needs to be removed and cleaned. Place a small section of core in the Core lifter and pull it to check whether the Core lifter is locked; if the core is unstuck, the Core lifter needs to be replaced; when reinstalling the Core lifter, lubricate the Core lifter case to prevent wear, insert the retaining ring into the slot, and check to ensure that the retaining ring is in the correct position.
Inner tube:
First, wipe the countersunk hole on the inner tube with a cloth to ensure that it is clean. Then check the inner and outer walls of the inner tube for depressions, notches or wear. Because severe depressions can cause blockage of the core, the inner tube needs to be replaced in severe cases. However, if the depression is very close to the end, it does not need to be replaced. When using it, just flip the inner tube and install the smoother end without severe depression on the Core lifter case.
Head Assembly:
Remove the inner tube cap on the main shaft, clean it and apply lubricating oil; clean the compression spring and the bearing on the main shaft; check whether the ball bearing is damaged or grooved, whether it is idling, and replace the bearing as needed; check the wear and straightness of the main shaft. Although slight wear does not hinder operation, if there is wear or groove, the main shaft needs to be replaced. At the same time, screw the locking nut onto the main shaft, and be careful to tighten it so that the bearing does not idling; check the flexibility of the spring, apply lubricating oil on the spring clamp and the recovery pipe. If there is excessive wear on the spring clamp, it needs to be replaced; check the bearings of various parts, and inject lubricating oil into the thrust bearing until the oil flows out; check the spearhead for damage. If there is damage, knock off the elastic pin to remove and replace it.
