(1) Ensure the working wind pressure. When the wind pressure is lower than the specified value, the impact energy and impact frequency will drop significantly, which will not only break the rock effectively, but also affect the timely discharge of the cuttings out of the hole.

(2) Sufficient air volume is supplied. The size of the air supply should be considered from the air consumption of the DTH hammer itself and the air return speed required for chip removal.

(3) Select the optimal speed. If the rotation speed is too high, the distance between the chisel marks caused by the two adjacent impacts is too large, and the rock between them is not easy to collapse; if the rotation speed is too low, the impact energy cannot be fully and effectively utilized. optimal speed.

(4) Appropriate drilling pressure is applied. It is advisable that there is no rebound phenomenon when the DTH hammer is working.

(5) Maintain reliable lubrication to reduce wear on pistons and cylinders.

(6) Keep the air path clean and smooth.

(7) When the drilling is stopped, the air supply should not be stopped immediately, so as to avoid the debris that has not been discharged from the hole falling back to the bottom of the hole, causing a "clamping drill" accident.
