The assembly process of the DTH Drill Hammer is actually the reverse process of the disassembly of the DTH Drill Hammer:

All parts must be clean and free from dirt and other dirt;

All burrs and nicks on the part must be cleaned;

All parts must be lubricated with no oil on the rig, preferably the same type of lubricating oil used on the rig;

All damaged "O" rings must be replaced, and to avoid the seal being cut or scattered, the seal must be soaked in oil;

Spraying some preservatives on the threads is useful if corrosion is prevalent, to ensure that the threads are clean and dry, therefore, adequate drying time is required.
1. If the air distribution is removed from the cylinder, the assembly of the air distribution rod is to install the air distribution rod into the cylinder, because the fit is an interference fit, all should be completed with a hydraulic machine, and attention should be paid to lower the air distribution rod The end of the valve is loaded into the cylinder, and the upper part of the air distribution seat can be judged by the groove on the outer circle.
2. Place the cylinder on a piece of forest head or hard rubber, then install the air distribution seat on the cylinder, push it into the cylinder, and use a copper rod to tap lightly to overcome the resistance.
3. Install the check valve and spring.
4. Ensure that the "O" ring of the rear top sub is in the fixed position of the rear top sub, apply a layer of copper or zinc-based thread lubricating oil on the threaded part of the rear top sub and the outer sleeve, and screw the rear top sub into the outer sleeve. After installation, all spare parts should be close together, but there should be a certain gap between the rear joint and the outer casing, the specific gap value refers to the manual, if there is no gap or the gap is too large, the DTH Drill Hammer must be reassembled.
